On the morning of January 7, 2018, the Program for Science and Humanity Exchanges of the ASEAN Countries (Laos) opened in GXUN. Mr. Cai Gaogen, member of the standing CPC committee and comptroller of GXUN, Ms. Vansy VALIGNAPHONE, Consul General of the Lao Consulate based in Nanning, and heads of International and Regional Cooperation Department of Ministry of Science and Technology of Guangxi and relevant departments of GXUN attended the opening ceremony. Trainees of the Lao Delegation of Science and Technology Managing Cadres attended the training program.

Before the event, Mr. Xie Shangguo, President of GXUN, met with Ms. Vansy VALIGNAPHONE, and Ms. Chen Dan, director of International and Regional Cooperation Department of Ministry of Science and Technology of Guangxi. They had in-depth exchanges on the enhancement of scientific and technological cooperation.
